Ecosystem Product Manager, Telecom Systems Business

What you’ll achieve

We are looking for talented, driven, hands-on self-starters to join our Telecom Systems Business team. The Ecosystem Product Manager willbe responsible for defining the requirements that will pull together intellectual property & knowledge from Dell & 3rd parties to deliver continuously integrated combinations of leading-edge silicon, infrastructure SW, and ISV workloads.  She/he will develop detailed requirements and adjust and maintain those requirements as Dell gathers information from customers and other stakeholders.  The product manager will work daily with the Engineering team to optimize continuous outcome delivery and interface regularly with the Sales organization and leading edge customers to ensure that Dell’s ecosystem offerings are relevant & timely.  The product manager is also responsible for setting the commercial framework for these capabilities.

You will:

  • Work with experts from all domains to develop a complete end-to-endpipeline of ​technologically sophisticated outcomes to be consumed by Telecom operators, documenting requirements & highlighting gaps. You will contribute to exploratory efforts to fill gaps.

  • Translate customer opportunities and requirements into detailed user stories. Develop detailed feature and product requirements documents from user stories. Work within agile, cross-functional product team to prioritize feature requirements.

  • Work with key internal product teams and partners to understand their roadmaps, key technologies and their impact to the solution offerings.

  • Work with engineering and development teams to develop proof of concepts of new and emerging technologies and/or new features that our customers can benefit from.

  • Help technical marketing to develop and review technical collateral and marketing claims.

Essential Requirements

  • Significant portfolio of relevant accomplishments & experience. Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • In depth product management and technical experience with 4G and 5G mobile network architectures.

  • In depth domain knowledge of virtualization & containerization concepts applied to telco and cloud infrastructures.

  • Technical understanding of the core hardware elements of Telecom and enterprise data centers (i.e.compute, networking, and storage) and the software/hardware ecosystem.

  • Hands-on experience applying continuous delivery methodologies across many facets of an ecosystem's lifecycle.

  • Strategic analysis, communication and business modeling skills

  • Ability to manage cross functional teams to define requirements, identify potential solutions, and drive consensus.

  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and presentation. Experience presenting to executive audiences is essential.
