This opportunity is for an individual contributor to join Dell EMC’s North America Commercial Field Marketing team. This role is critical in elevating Dell EMC’s strategic value proposition to the Mid-Market customer through a customer-centric strategy that grows Dell EMC’s share in the US Mid-Market segment.

The candidate for this role will assess market and competitive trends, understand where we win in the market, and develop and execute demand generation programs with our Mid-Market customers. The ideal candidate is a positive, can-do individual who excels in customer engagement and project management and working with cross functional teams. They are also a creative thinker who is results-driven, enjoys complex problem solving and thrives on owning the process from beginning to end. The individual will grow a deep understanding of Dell EMC’s North America campaigns and priorities, Mid-Market customers’ needs, competitive dynamics of the Mid-Market marketplace, and the levers to utilize to create demand and improved financial results for Dell EMC.


  • Understands the Mid-Market customers’ pain points, based on in-depth data analysis and insights, to develop a go-to-market strategy and implement a demand gen and customer engagement plans

  • Manages the end-to-end event process from initial concept, engagement with sales and marketing teams, registration generation and post event reporting

  • Grows net new pipeline and revenue through a mix of Mid-Market lead generation tactics via sales enablement that targets the right audience with the right message at the right time; primarily through in-person and virtual customer events

  • Understands impact of emerging business trends, the needs and requirements of the sales teams and their customers (buying/sales cycles, customer intelligence, etc.) and apply that knowledge to propose customer engagements, primarily in-person and virtual events and content

  • Coordinates and negotiates with key sales and marketing decision makers to plan and execute customer engagements

  • Coordinates event execution in line with budget guidance and delivers a consistently superior customer experience

  • Manages demand gen pipeline creation; and SalesForce tracking and reporting

  • Utilizes campaign metrics to track results throughout quarter/year

  • Gathers feedback through multiple channels, including direct customer interaction, and communicates to appropriate marketing and business leaders to continually optimize demand gen program performance

  • Promote Dell EMC’s products, solutions, and end-to-end value proposition to prospective and existing customers; to help grow the Mid-Market business


  • Availability for domestic travel around US (50% of time on travel)

  • Experience in developing and managing events

  • Proven track record managing multiple priorities and building advocacy with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to influence without authority; in a fast pace, results-driven environment

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Experience with content development

  • Presentation skills

  • Undergraduate degree and 8-12 years relevant experience

  • Excellent verbal, written and conversational skills

  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and Power Point required

  • Not a remote role, must live in Austin/Round Rock or surrounding areas
