The ECS team is looking for talented software developers with a passion for technology and innovative solutions to difficult engineering problems, who want to challenge and define the state-of-the-art in distributed systems. This position offers work in a dedicated team with a tremendous amount of ability to innovate, influence, and enable how engineering teams at ECS deliver the World’s best scale-out Object Storage system. You will build new and enhance existing capabilities of the platform’s infrastructure that features high scale cluster management/orchestration, monitoring and serviceability solutions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain software development and delivery processes. Work on automated pipelines, tooling, and underlying infrastructure.
Application support: maintenance operations, troubleshooting, fulfilling user requests.
Communicate effectively with teammates and other teams to coordinate the development efforts and share information.
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills and the ability to resolve ambiguity in a quickly‑changing environment.
Experience in application support: maintenance operations, troubleshooting, fulfilling user requests.
Experience with Linux administration.
Scripting languages: Linux shell, Python.
Configuration management tools: Ansible.
CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Jenkins Pipelines.
Upper Intermediate English.
Experience with build systems: Gradle, make.
Experience with Docker.
Git, Artifactory, JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence
