What you’ll achieve
The DevOps engineering team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will contribute to the automation around tools supporting Dell Technologies engineering teams. There are opportunities to automate infrastructure, platform, and application provisioning, deployment, management along with operational feature automation such as security, monitoring, alerting. This person will be responsible for leading the Tools Design and automation efforts while creating a highly efficient, metrics-driven, DevOps working model leveraging the aforementioned automation. We need a passionate individual who can scale across roles and is flexible to work with a diverse team.
You will:
support and administrate Jenkins, work with tickets from customers
write scripts to automate processes (python, ansible, puppet)
work with a wide range of tools and methodologies to understand business needs and requirements and understand how they can be achieved
work with Internal Cloud tools and development environments with scale and security as pillars

Essential Requirements
Experience with Jenkins admin activities
Scripting skills, i.e., Python, Bash, etc.
Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet and familiarity with logging systems like ELK.
Oral and written English at intermediate+ level
Experience in support activities, communicating to customers and supporting their requests
Desirable Requirements
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus.
Familiarity with Container Management, Virtualization and deployment services using Docker.
