You’re a consummate professional with a passion for equity solutions and an eye for detail. You are comfortable participating in strategic conversations about equity operations, as well as getting into the weeds of day-to-day stock administration. You have experience working at fast-paced public companies, and have an eye for creating operational efficiencies.. You’re collaborative, analytical, and capable of helping the company evaluate our equity programs in order to scale and grow with our evolving business.
Pivotal’s equity program is an essential component of our overall Rewards strategy. Today, Pivotal’s Head of Stock Administration, along with the Legal, Finance, and People (HR) teams combine forces to manage and administer Pivotal’s equity program to employees in 30 countries. We partner closely together to ensure employees have the best experience as participants, while ensuring our equity programs support our broader business objectives. We are looking to grow our equity team to help take our equity program to the next level.
As part of the stock administration team,, you’ll be the go-to person for the operations of the Pivotal equity program. This includes:
Administering the company’s equity plan for employees across the globe (including grants, exercises, forfeitures, etc.) and ensuring that all transactions are correctly and accurately processed in a timely manner
Partnering closely with internal teams, including Finance, Payroll, Legal, Tax and HR to ensure seamless administration and compliance
Maintaining the integrity of equity data in Pivotal’s online equity tool/platform and managing the relationship with the platform vendor
Providing a high level of customer service in responding to employee and management inquiries
Work with the Head of Stock Administration to educate employee population on how the equity program works and the value to them as participants
Required Skills / Experiences
Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS)
Certified Equity Professional preferred
1 - 5 years of global stock administration experience
Broad experience with a range of equity compensation instruments and plans, including stock options, RSUs, PSUs and ESPPs both in the US and internationally
Experience with online equity platforms (EquiView preferred)
Superior analytical capabilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance matters as they relate to equity, both U.S. and international
Unrelenting focus on the customer
Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Desired Skills / Experiences
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, adhere to tight deadlines and collaborate with cross functional teams
Ability to work independently and drive systems and processes
Some equity accounting & tax knowledge preferred
Experience with proxy data, Section 16 filings and 10b5-1 plans a plus
Expert use of Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs)
