Using a wealth of technical and industry experience, we work across functional areas to implement our products or solutions. We undertake thorough analysis of the markets to ensure we maximize profitability and adjust our product strategies to respond to competition. Our role also involves acting as subject matter experts for internal and external product events or partner meetings.

In this key role you will provide critical business and product operations support for our Data Protection Division portfolio which includes Data Domain and Data Protection software product/solutions
Provide comprehensive product release, licensing, pricing and infrastructure support that impacts a broad range of key strategic initiatives (e.g., pricing strategy/management, product positioning, strategic business plans)
Be responsible for the back-end infrastructure readiness for product/model structure and ordering path tools planning and requirements; you will be the focal point for all IT planning, testing to align to availability date
Support licensing planning for product releases, business, and sales initiatives
Work with team members and senior staff with research, development, and presentation of new/existing product and business initiatives to gain timely management approval and handling of issues for product price, packaging, feature/functionality
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, marketing, customer support, field personnel, manufacturing, sales, program management, contracts, compliance, legal, licensing, professional services) to ensure customer needs and requirements are represented and product releases are met
Technical Project or Product Management Business Operations experience w/ full life cycle experience or strong conceptual knowledge
Must be proficient in tools such as MS PowerPoint and Excel and have the ability to create and give effective presentations within executive levels of leadership and cross functional teams
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team with exceptional problem-solving skills
Ability to be tactical for the back-end product/model structure planning
Ability to communicate and collaborate cross functionally between product teams and all levels of leadership, with a strong understanding of the business
Strong communicator with ability to influence
Possess exceptional problem-solving skills
Must be customer-focused and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years with a Master’s degree of PhD without experience or equivalent experience
Knowledge of the Data Protection and backup solution industry with an understanding of cloud technologies and their deployment models a major plus
Financial/business analysis experience
