Dell Technologies Select Client Executive – SK Group

The Client Executive is responsible for managing our partnership globally with Hyundai Group, establishing and growing relationships with key executive stakeholders whilst focusing on overachieving on annual sales quotas and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on the account. This will involve leading a globally diverse and geographically spread team to focus on increasing our relevance and share of wallet, optimize revenues and profits for Dell Technologies.

The role will work in close coordination with Geo Leaders, Country Managers and BU Leaders to ensure availability of appropriate resources and investments to maximize our opportunities and driving strong world class results.


Business Vision and Strategic Engagement

  • Demonstrate a high level of Industry and Customer understanding with General Managers and business ownership mindset.

  • Must be able to articulate a clear vision of where Dell Technologies can deliver unique value.

  • Lead the team to build a strategy to ‘bridge’ the high level business goal of the customer to Dell Technologies’ value proposition and work with the field teams to drive a strong tactical plan to execute on.

  • The Client Executive should be able to become a ‘Trusted Advisor’ of the customer.

Executive Relationships

  • Must have executive presence and be able to build senior level relationships within the account and external business partners.

  • The Client Executive is expected to engage and build strong working relationships across C-level, General Managers and Heads of technology decision-makers developing mutually beneficial business opportunities through these key contacts.

Leadership of the Dell Technologies Team

  • Provide resilient and credible leadership across multiple Dell Technologies business functions at all levels within the company.

  • The successful candidate will be highly accountable and viewed as a trustworthy partner in all customer and internal interactions.

Business Growth and Profitability

  • Innovate and drive key opportunities, utilize the complete range of Dell Technologies capabilities to maximize revenue opportunity across a broad cross-section of the Customer business.

  • Is entrepreneurial, focusing on large-scale, high value growth opportunities with a long-term perspective.

  • Develop ‘game-changing’ business models and utilizes creative sales techniques to execute the business growth.

Continual Improvement

  • Ensure that processes are in place to monitor and measure Customer satisfaction and loyalty to Dell Technologies.

  • Put in place programs to constantly improve the Total Customer Experience and value from Dell Technologies.

  • Uses advanced communications techniques to ensure high levels of Customer awareness in relation to Dell Technologies capabilities and value delivered.

Extend Value Through Partnerships

  • Maximizes the engagement with the Customer through the development of value-added partnerships that extend the reach and capabilities of Dell Technologies and bring incremental benefit to the customer.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience directly leading client executives through multi-year IT transformations transaction, starting during the pre-sales cycle through to customer service hand off.

  • Strong sales acumen, with experience of direct selling, consulting and service delivery – track record of successfully selling and delivering multi-year software-defined, or cloud service capability internationally at more than $30m

  • Working knowledge of cloud models including marketplace, developer communities, application migration, virtualization, converged infrastructure, and public offerings.

  • Ability to understand various business models and make connections to how IT can support and ultimately bring profitably to the company.
