Assigned to a particular territory or a specific partner, our teams are dedicated to driving sales of Dell products, systems and services. The focus is on getting the very best from a host of indirect sales channels. From value-added resellers to distributors and retailers, it’s about finding what works and constantly exploring ways to make it work even better. These relationships can change everything.
Establish sales through indirect channels such as Value Added Reseller (VAR), , Distributors, Dealers, Alliances or Partners Attains team revenue and margin targets Ensures brand values are maintained by Channel Partners Provides direction, development and inspiration to team members
Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce
Drives channel sales strategies and channel sales promotion campaigns
Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members
Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities
Responsible for organizing cross functional teams
Directly manages field based individual contributors and may manage subordinate leaders
Manages teams responsible for moderately complex accounts
Sets focus for outside team and helps sets focus of vertical/business
Drives focus with cross-business functions
Drives business process improvement efforts
Understands complexities of the environment and works within Dell to solve complex business issues
Collaborates with other functions to resolve escalations/customer issues quickly
Clear understanding of the various moving parts and inner workings that contribute to high sales performance
Excellent understanding of the GEO channel landscape
Experience on developing and executing on high growth Business plans and Partner plans
Understand lagging and leading indicators that helps measure channel performance results but more importantly, gives the business the ability to predict outcomes
Excellent communication skills
Executive level engagement skills
Able to work in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders
Analytical & planning skills
Ability to influence others to achieve results.
