Services Sales Leader – Korea (SDS Services Sales)

The Services Sales Leader for Korea acts as the focal point and leader for services sales which more specifically focuses on Support and Deployment Services (SDS). DellEMC services focuses on Support, Deployment, and Managed Services business across Client products, Server and networking products and Storage products. This is a quota carrying sales role with people management responsibilities and reports to the General Manager of Services Sales for South Asia and Korea and dotted line reporting to Country GMs.

The goal will be to grow the overall services business in the current market through mid to long term strategies as well as fast execution to close deals to meet targets, grow visibility in the market and create key services led accounts. The candidate must have the ability to succeed in a high-pressure environment and work on several projects/accounts within a focused sales team.

His/her responsibilities would include:

  • Sales Leader of exception capabilities

  • Manage the Korea Services Sales team

  • Be part of the country leadership teams and engage all sales, BU, specialty, services delivery and presales team

  • Meet or Exceed Quarterly and yearly services targets and drive the business to delivery stretch plans

  • Define and Drive the Korea SDS services strategy to align with country strategy to grow the DellEMC products and services business

  • Engage and drive key large customer and partner accounts/opportunities to align with focus and strategic accounts

  • Present DellEMC services portfolio at various forums, events and marketing activities.

  • Perform regular business performance review with in-country teams, leadership team and regional teams.

  • Be able to lead customer and partner activities/engagements

  • Engage with the various delivery teams

Ideal candidate needs to engage with regional team members and as such must be able to clearly communicate current business performance, strategies and plans to ensure regular alignment and engagement.

Qualifications/Skills Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business with minimum 15 Years’ Experience in the IT Industry focusing on services.

  • Experience should include one or more of the following areas: IT Infrastructure Services presales, Sales and Business Development. Key areas of solution focus is Support, Infrastructure Deployment and Managed Services across the DellEMC portfolio.

  • Technical knowledge (from sales perspective) across DellEMC (or equivalent) Client, Server, Storage, Backup and Infrastructure software and solutions

  • The candidate should be skilled at working in a highly matrix organization and managing teams who report to other managers

  • Be a self-managed, motivated, driven and trustworthy sales leader both internally and externally.

  • Is a team player, builds strong relations internally/externally and has a commitment to quality.

  • Possess strong selling, customer relations and negotiating skills as well as good time management and personal organization.

  • Demonstrates account penetration ability and persuasive skills to obtain acceptance of ideas by customers and sales leaders

  • Has knowledge and thorough experience, of the sales and delivery process, specifically related to Infrastructure services.

  • Must have understanding of services delivery life cycle, sales and financial skills highly desired.

  • Exceptional experience in people management, pursuit, closing & winning services deals
