Senior Analyst, Project/Program Management

Preferred subject: Mechanical, IE, Tooling, Material, Automation

Working location: Shanghai or Chengdu

Key Responsibilities

  • Works closely with suppliers, sustaining groups and extended core team to ensure product predictability at the supplier.

  • Assists to assure capacity and continuity of supply for specific components.

  • Assists in excursion management through root cause analysis.

  • Drives implementation and validation of improvement/corrective actions.

  • Provides recommendations and risk assessments on new suppliers and new process technology.

  • Responsible for sustaining activities and process activities.

  • Responsible for driving the continuous improvement plan.

  • Works with the supplier to develop and implement the quality management plan using industry tools and standards to drive quality improvements and initiatives.

  • Assists the suppliers/vendors on the execution of quality tools, methodologies and requirements

  • Participates in quality improvement processes ensuring quality goals and expectations are met

  • Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor or master degree in Automation, Mechanical, IE, Material, tooling or related.

  • Good communication skill in both Chinese and English.

  • Better to have some ME manufacturing knowledge.

  • Be able to work under pressure independently.

  • There is potential and passion to learn and grow.

You will be part of SQE supplier development team. Work is typically organized around project-based engagements and you will be responsible for:

• New supplier lean operation assessment

• Supplier productivity bring up.

• Leading supplier operation/quality/engineering team responsible for optimize value stream activities, remove bottle neck.

• Typical tasks may involve but not limited to the following topics

• Potential supplier assessment

• Lean project initiative and implementation

• Calculate cost saving

• Program manage key initiatives and drive results

You should be comfortable with a fast-paced dynamic environment, be able to drive supplier actions, and clearly and concisely communicate recommendations and conclusions with the support of detailed data and on-site observations, and may be asked to regularly participate in cross-functional teams in support of initiatives throughout the organization.

The team will have frequent exposure to WWP management team and cross function stakeholders including Procurement, Operations, Engineering.
