What you’ll achieve

As the Greater China Marketing Manager (Consultant) for OEM & Edge Industry Solutions, you will be responsible for the end-to-end integrated marketing of OEM & Edge Industry Solutions across the Greater China (GC) region. They will be responsible to develop and execute GC OEM Solutions marketing strategy and plan, across all relevant marketing vehicles including campaigns, events, webinars, digital, social, plays, customer success stories, AR/PR etc. They will be working with working with multiple stakeholders to ensure success, including multiple agencies and online tools such as Allocadia, ART, Salesforce and various online event platforms. This role is part of the global Dell Technologies OEM Marketing Team and reports directly into the Dell Technologies OEM APJ/GC Marketing Director.

This opportunity is ideal for an accomplished and seasoned marketer likes to work across various business units, cross-functions, stakeholders and cultures. Self-starter, entrepreneurial and organisational skills and multi-tasking are key for the candidate, as well as a digital marketing skillset, an eye for detail and great crisis management skills.

You will:

  1. Develop and execute GC OEM Solutions marketing strategy and plan
  • Manage multiple marketing programs from the planning stage, right through to execution and post-activity evaluation.

  • Understanding of OEM customer personas and the buyer journey and how best to message through OEM campaigns

  • Amplify marketing campaign messages through all relevant touchpoints incl social, digital

  • Tight collaboration with sales and also interact with customers when necessary

  • Work and communicate directly with customers including C-level customers, as well as key executives across Dell Technologies.

  • Support GC OEM Solutions Sales GM in newsletter, including win communications

  • Plan/execute virtual/physical events eg. OEM Design Experience, OEM Customer Advisory Councils, Customer days, executive briefings, webinars, and hospitality

  • Work with OEM Solutions Inside & Outside sales org to run Internal Engagement campaigns eg Lunch n Learns & Fuel Your Wisdom with core ISRs/ sales

  • Create and amplify OEM Design studies and customer success stories in relevant forums including DTFs

  • Ensure timely inbound and outbound leads action by GC OEM ISRs/ sales

  • Optimize marketing plan mapped to evolving GC OEM Solutions sales priorities

  • Analyze program results and ROI to optimize marketing mix and make recommendations for future improvements

  • Represent the voice of GC OEM Solutions into the APJ/GC Marketing Director and global OEM Solutions marketing organization

  1. Manage to allocated marketing budget on quarterly and half-yearly basis
  • Timely management of spend to budget leveraging APJ/GC marketing operations

  • Develop and maintain relations with VF partners and maximize vendor funding with Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, Microsoft

  • Manage VF tools and file post execution POE reports for timely and full claims

  1. Meet and exceed marketing metrics

  • Acquisition accounts/ pipe

  • Referral leads/ pipe

  1. Integration with GC core marketing
  • Collaborate with the core GC marketing org to ensure integration of OEM Solutions and our Edge Industry Solutions portfolio into the rest of Dell Technologies

  • Provide OEM Solutions value: content, speakers, OEM solutions into core marketing campaigns and events

  • Build OEM Solutions mindshare within GC core marketing org

Essential Requirements

  • English and Mandarin writing/ communication skills, good track record with 10 to 12 years of experience in marketing, field marketing or other relevant marketing roles, minimum of 5 years’ experience activating 360 marketing campaigns spanning all relevant marketing vehicles

  • Proven experience working in or with sales and business development teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and demand generation and working with Executives, past OEM and Edge Industry solutions experience and Dell China/GC experience a plus

  • Ability to work on own — a self-starter with a high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a fast-paced team environment, readily adaptable to changing market and organisational requirements, strong management and relationship skills and high ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally in a matrix environment

  • Exceptional project and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail and capability to juggle multiple programs, knowledge of marketing tools and skills needed to drive marketing programs which generate demand, leads and pipeline, measure to success

  • Social media skills, proficient skills for Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, ability to consistently produce results on time, within budget & align tactical plans with strategies, project Management experience, time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure, budget management, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills

Desirable requirements:

Education: Degree – Marketing or Business preferable. MBA a plus.
