The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the local team by identifying and recruiting high potential candidates.

  • Help the team integrate well with their counterparts in other geographies.

  • Drive quality to match and exceed enterprise customer expectations as a top priority.

  • Be accountable to and support other campaign managers with resources for the duration of the campaign in any of the three areas within DM.

  • Continuously improve team efficiency through technical growth, process, and feedback.

  • Being a results oriented technical leader, demonstrating expertise in project estimations, engineering designs, brainstorming sessions, reviews, and delivery of projects to release schedule.

  • Mentor and coach individually with the right balance of direction and support.

  • Work closely with Program Management to report status to the program.

  • Do budgeting, performance reviews, and compensation planning.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • Minimum of 4 years of prior management experience

  • Minimum of 4 years development experience

  • Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written, are required for interaction with team members, senior members of the staff and other members of the organizations

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Presentation skills: able to present a roadmap or have a dialog with a customer to resolve issues when requested by field support.

  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and new products.

  • Demonstrated expertise and continued desire to lead a highly cross-functional organization with remotely located and international team members

  • Strong operational and project management skills. Must be results driven and possess a proven track record for execution.

  • Demonstrated drive and ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast paced environment

  • Understanding of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java to be able to code review and manage coding standards.
