Job Title: Software Senior Engineer

DELL-EMC’s Midrange and Entry Solutions DataPath Shanghai Team is seeking talented engineers with world-class programming, communication and organizational skills.


  • The candidate will be responsible for block object management product new feature development and maintenance including legacy bug fixing and customer issues handling.

  • The candidate will probably spend some time in maintaining internal tools or equipment.

  • The candidate will be responsible for file system which is optimized for core IT applications. These include transactional workloads such as Oracle, SAP, SQL, Exchange or SharePoint, server virtualization and end user computing such as VDI, and all other applications that need traditional file, block or unified storage.

  • You will work closely with product managers, development teams to design, implement, test, deploy, stabilize in a fast-paced agile development environment. You will work with a highly motivated team solving complex problems and have fundamental business impact and incredible opportunities to learn and grow.


  • BS or MS in Computer Science or closely related field

  • 3+ years’ experience of programming in C/C++ Good Linux/Windows programming skills and C/C++ multi-threads programming

  • Knowledge and expertise in one or more of the following areas: file systems, storage protocols (NFSv3, v4 and v41 pNFS, CIFS, iSCSI), storage technologies (SAN, NAS, RAID, OSD, snapshot, replication), networking, device drivers, clustering
