We oversee initial plans, set budgets, track project activities and communicate milestones to key stakeholders.

What you’ll achieve
As a APJ Marketing Chief of staff , you will be responsible for developing initial plans, setting budgets, supervising project activities and communicating achievements to key partners.
Leadership Meetings and Executive Engagements
BMS: Define BMS & FY calendar setting cadence for planning. Help prioritize calendar.
Manage Weekly Staff Meeting Agenda : Identify and prepare presenters, topics & materials which are aligned to strategy & fiscal year priorities.
Support Travel: support agenda and readiness executive meetings with internal stakeholders and external parties (e.g. customer / partner meetings, business reviews & talent / people development sessions).
Prepare executive presentations: Work with related teams to develop presentations to support internal & external meetings and engagements.
Follow up: Keep track of action items from QBRs and RTB meetings.
Future work year planning :
Central point of readiness management for presentations, collaborating across support functions including, but not limited to, Marketing & Business leaders.
Ensure presentation has a cohesive story with appropriate data to support. Leverage support from Strategy and Marketing teams to develop story flow, messaging & quality of presentation.
Accelerate Marketing Agenda / business review readiness:
Enable profitable growth via implementation of high impact business projects : requires coordination with various stakeholders within and outside of the APJ Marketing team.
Support translation of strategy into stakeholders’ objectives and plan right KPIs .
Drive operational efficiencies and cross teams support (APJ Marketing, International Marketing & beyond and beyond).
Manage key projects & initiatives reports-out: Work with APJ & International leadership team and other stakeholders (e.g. Comms, Business, Campaigns) to highlight key projects / initiatives.
Manage leadership comms.
APJ Marketing representation in pan-Marketing initiatives as needed.
Organization and People
HR Activity Management : Serve as an extension of the HR business partners (HRBP) in managing both tactical and highly strategic activities including:
Working with leaders on organizational design.
Lead Strategy Cascade, Tell Dell Action Planning, Inspire Management for APJ Marketing.
Partner with HRBP to help execute HR activities (e.g. university relations hiring).
Finance Support / Budget Management: Serve as an extension of the Finance team for both tactical and strategic activities including:
All headcount and requisition management.
Budget for the leadership team, i.e. managing spend at line item level.
To understand budget status and to reallocate funding (with leadership approval) as needed, should initial forecasted expense requirements vary from plan.
