Assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing marketing programs, Field Marketing at Dell Technologies is at the forefront of customer engagement. Responsible for a specific location, department or product, our teams drive marcom strategy – from making budget recommendations to defining roadmaps and informing content themes. Interacting directly with customers and utilizing third-party customer data, they provide Dell’s product marketing and messaging team with game-changing feedback. At the highest level, they develop and drive marketing policies and activities, from market research through brand management and product development to pricing.

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Field Marketing Manager (South Asia), you will be responsible for overseeing our marketing strategy, plan and execution in 5 key markets - Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines. You will be reporting to the Senior Director Marketing, South Asia and Asian Emerging Markets and lead a team of country marketing managers and collaborate with the country sales and business unit stakeholders being the marketing brain and champion for ultimate customer and partner experience. Success in this role will come from strong collaboration with South Asia Central and APJ Marketing teams and building balanced plan and execution for our markets that will support business growth and market expansion.

You will:

  • Manage the hiring and sustaining efforts for a diverse and effective workforce, supporting career development and performance discussions of team members.

  • Drive strategic initiatives in emerging or established markets that present large opportunities, including conducting research studies and developing comprehensive marketing recommendations for the region.

  • Bring marketing campaigns to the market, evaluate marketing plans and develops strategies to respond to changing market and competitive conditions.

  • Communicate and translates Dell vision/strategy to staff. Responsible for executing on functional and business goals for the group.

  • Responsible for meeting budgetary and KPI goals and objectives. Manages the marketing mix and sales enablement such as the preparation of sales material, controlling marketing communications programs and recommends media best suited to sell products or services.

Essential Requirements

  • 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in the Technology sector

  • 4 to 8 years of managerial/leadership experience

  • Strong experience in 'C' level engagement as well as driving marketing tactics across Larger and Medium business segment

  • Proven track record creating and executing demand gen programs based on deep understanding of the technology market requirements

  • Proven success in managing complex market, fronting multiple stakeholders and a demonstrated ability to drive marketing programs to meet ROI metrics

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where change is a constant
