Systems Engineer

Our field sales team rely on the technical expertise of our Solution Architects during the sales process to provide technical advisory and consultation on designing the best solutions for our customers. Our Presales Systems Engineering team leads this conversation by taking the complexity out of technology and designing turn-key cloud-based solutions leveraging on the Dell Technologies portfolio. This exciting role is dynamic and challenging; from delivering technical presentations and solution showcases, to developing detailed technology architecture and design plans, we ensure customers get the most innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need to futureproof their IT investment in this new digital world.

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be the solution architect partnering with to our field sales teams, helping to define the overall Dell Technologies solution for our customers using the full range of company products and services.

You will:

  • Build and lead relationships for key technology stakeholders in our customer accounts

  • Conduct customer needs analysis and anticipate requirements beyond existing solution’s scope

  • Design best in class solutions to meet the sophisticated demands of customers today based on Dell Technologies products and services

  • Deliver impactful presentations to sell the value of our solution

  • Engage with customers to provide thought leadership on the latest in technology/industry trends sharing best practices in the new digital world

  • Provide advisory and consulting leveraging on her technical expertise to design and implement the solution

Essential Requirements

  • Passion for technology and customers

  • Enjoys problem-solving complex IT challenges with innovative solutions

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

  • Ability to present to both working level and executives and articulating the value of Dell Technologies

  • In-depth understanding of market, technologies, products and services

  • 3+ years of related experience in a customer-centric IT technical role in either post or pre-sales capacity

Desirable Requirements

  • Advanced experience in a relationship selling role

  • Bachelor’s degree
