We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with a desire for growth and knowledge expansion supporting Dell’s Global Network Infrastructure. Seeking candidates that have a passion for technical infrastructure and advanced network engineering and support including knowledge building in security, routing, switching, transport, and service management.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Network Operations Support person for Dell Network Infrastructure
Serves as escalation path and technical consultant to L3 Network Engineers
Analyzes Dell’s network infrastructure and provides both tactical and strategic solutions to issues
In-depth disciplinary knowledge; leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise
Provides deep subject matter expertise, advice and program delivery
Contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise
Integrates trends, data and information into plans, deliverables and recommendations
Develops innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improves business performance and contributes to corporate goals and strategic intent
Works well with cross functional teams
Creates and reviews technical documentation
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 1+ years relevant experience; or relevant experience
2+ years network support or engineering experience
Knowledge of infrastructure performance and hardware including Cisco and/or Dell Networking platforms
Familiar with Incident/Change/Problem Management processes and procedures
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, with proven experience interacting with a range of personalities and styles, to establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization
Able to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures, grasp technical concepts, and adapt easily to change
Must have a passion for learning and demonstrable intellectual curiosity
Able to manage competing demands, multiple priorities, while remaining adaptable and flexible
Must be a US citizen to support Federal IT networks
Preferred/Nice to Have:
CCNA and/or CCNP certification(s)
Experience with Firewalls and DMZ-protected networks
Experience with Netscout Monitoring and Performance Tools
Experience with ServiceNow CRM platform
Experience with end-to-end troubleshooting for both internal and external infrastructures (Carriers, Outsource providers, Vendors)
Dell Networking experience/exposure (Force10 legacy)
