Both proactive and reactive, we’re responsible for the technical administration of enterprise application suites, including ERP and CRM. We’re experts in undertaking design, support, monitoring and system tuning activities across the entire application stack, including end-user UI, web and application servers and databases. We also analyze software and hardware problems, coordinate workable solutions and perform system software upgrades.

General Summary:

Dell IT Operations Services develops and delivers solutions that enable clients to maximize returns on IT investments, drive efficiencies and reduce costs. Working with highly skilled techno-functional advisors, you will provide L2 maintenance and support for various applications and databases in SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolves Basis Admin-related business queries and problems for a complex, customized pricing process, requiring excellent analytical skills on case-by-case issues

  • Drives continuous improvement in SAP Basis through problem management and root cause analysis

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements and automation to drive scale and efficiency

  • Supports and trains peers coming from different domains and technologies

  • Flexibility with working hours to support global user population

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (technical) with 8+ years relevant experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years relevant experience; or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years experience as an SAP Basis Administrator

  • Expertise in a broad range of SAP Products like ECC, SCM, CRM, LiveCache, PLM, REACH, Business Warehouse (BW), Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC), Solution Manager, Trex, Web Dispatcher, Content Server, Hybris, Vendavo, System Landscape Directory, Vertex, Identity Management (IDM), GRC and Gateway

  • Expertise in installation, upgrades and patching of SAP applications

  • Expertise in SAP Performance tuning, SAP memory management and application configuration

  • Expertise in SAP Java stack administration, installations, upgrades and performance tuning

  • Experienced in working with SAP and other vendors to resolve escalated production issues

  • In depth understanding of SAP technical architecture and best practices

  • Expertise in SAP Change and Transport management

  • Expertise in use and implementation of Solution manager – CHARM; Monitoring – EWA; Maintenance Optimizer; SLD content management

  • Subject matter expert in particular areas like BW Basis, SCM Basis

  • Expertise in supporting SAP refreshes and data sub setting

  • Expertise in SAP Print and spool management

  • Experience with SAP Archiving

Preferred/Desired:

  • Knowledge of HANA
