This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sr Consultant to join a growing team to deliver exceptional services to the telecom industry and be a subject matter expert leader in the rapidly evolving 4G/5G wireless ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone with a unique blend of technical expertise, operational excellence, leadership skillset, and business acumen with strong communication skills.
What you’ll achieve
This role is seeking an experienced subject matter expert with demonstrated competence with 4G/5G wireless technologies in Core, Edge, and Transport network design, optimization, and management in order to architect solutions for customer needs. As a consultant you will leverage your broad technical knowledge of multi-vendor 4G/5G network architectural solutions and be responsible to develop new and transformational legacy networks to virtual and cloud native infrastructure from the Core through Transport to Edge to RAN to support various service requirements. Develop processes, guidelines, tools, KPIs and SLAs to build streamlined Best Practices to improve customers’ network cost advantage by increasing operational efficiencies within their end to end network.
Architect end to end 4G/5G solutions across Transport, SDN, virtual and cloud native Core, OSS, BSS, Edge and RAN nodes.
Perform network planning to ensure appropriate dimensioning, parameter configurations, capacity, and load balance across physical, virtual, cloud and application domains to meet the customer’s network requirements.
Design, optimize and manage end to end TCP/IP and Network security applying appropriate protocols, firewalls, routing, policies and procedures.
Architect solutions to incorporate automation for network orchestration such as Zero Touch Provision, automatic testing and site acceptance, CI/CD processes and orchestration of network configuration, software and security compliance policies.
Solve complex problems independently amid ambiguity through requirements gathering, industry research and collaboration with existing assets.
Foster a collaborative relationship with vendors and partners to develop, communicate and present architectures, solutions, and strategies to meet the customer’s needs.

15+ years of overall wireless telecom industry experience as a service provider and/or equipment vendor designing, optimizing, and management of the 4G/5G wireless core networks.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Expert knowledge TCP/IP and security compliance network design, optimization, and management of 4G/5G wireless networks.
Expert level experience in designing and troubleshooting capabilities of virtual/cloud native EPC/IMS/5GC network architecture, call flows and services.
Strong knowledge on management and orchestration of virtual/cloud environments and orchestration platforms for 4G/5G networks. (e.g., VIM, Kubernetes, OpenStack, VMWare).
Strong knowledge on management and orchestration and CI/CD processes of virtual/cloud environments and orchestration platforms for 4G/5G networks. (e.g., VIM, Kubernetes, OpenStack, VMWare).
Strong knowledge of Transport design techniques and standards for Fronthaul/Midhaul/Backhaul.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
Strong knowledge of Fault, Configuration, Assurance, Performance, and Security (FCAPS) management for wireless networks in an enterprise environment
Knowledgeable of 4G/5G RAN and OpenRAN network infrastructure and technologies.
Experience with customer facing Pre-Sales engagements with proven strong executive presence engagement with Top Telecom Operators.
Familiarity with various open source and open interface initiatives such as TIP, ONAP and O-RAN Alliance.
Program Management and/or Consulting experience desired.
