What you’ll achieve
The alliance account manager is responsible for the management and growth of named partners in the DACH region. Relationships with these partners must remain well managed and mutually beneficial to both companies. The main objective of the alliance account manager is to increase long-term revenue as well as ensuring the partner selects Dell for inclusion in their solutions and bids. The alliance account manger must be able to develop and maintain broad and deep external partner relations with company partners in all solutions areas; is knowledgeable of the partner’s propositions, their markets, business challenges and customer opportunities; ensures partner account of the vision, strategies and capabilities of the alliance; maintains updates to the partner of the latest developments of their alliance account; provides feedback to the partners if needed; develops and executes attainable and strategy plans with the market needs; builds multi-level relationships with its partners including those in the executive level; produces high-quality leads through constant engagements with partners in terms of marketing strategies; and coordinates with internal resources to launch partner sales planning efforts of the company
You will work with the top strategic partners in the DACH region to develop a territory plan that meets the goals of our country leads for these partners and delivers incremental value and access to markets that couldn’t be accessed without these partners.
Be responsible for the development of the account / territory plan for the partners.
Have strong ability to lead a virtual team.
Be proficient in C level communications and management.
Ensure governance and cadence procedures are followed and documented to ensure managment of goals.
Grow incremental revenue for both Dell and the partner business.
Achieve annual targets.

The Alliance Account Manager must have a passion for sales and technology. Their drive must come from the willingness to the help the company’s growth
They must have exceptional communication skills as it will be the core of this role, also on C suite level.
They must know how to build relationships as well know how to maintain them and must be disciplined in working with people as well as be culturally sensitive in dealing with them
They must have a high level of EQ and be capable of managing complex engagements
They must have experience as an account manager in the technology sector.
Fluent English and German language skills
Experience in the Alliances sector.
