What you’ll achieve

As the Electrical Engineer Intern with Dell, your primary responsibility will be providing comprehensive study to understand the PC benchmark and performance tuning challenges. And work with your mentor on solving the problems from system engineering perspective in an innovative way, including design of experiments, analyzing results, and documentation as well as presentation. You will also have opportunity to work directly on latest product prototypes as well as teamwork with Dell’s key partners.

You will

  • Drive the computer performance optimization for notebook.

  • Working with your mentor on studying design challenges thru experiments to observe problems effectively

  • Teamwork with multi-functional stakeholders, technology supplier and ODM to assess system solutions and prove the concept with prototype

  • Documenting the method, design experiments and results to prepare your presentations

Essential Requirements:

  • Equipped fundamental knowledge in computer architecture and power management mechanism

  • Strong initiative, ability to incubating new technology into proven concept rigorously

  • Fluent English communication skill in writing, speaking and presentation

  • Experience of computer overclocking, an enthusiast computing lover, or a heavy user for powerful laptop is a plus

Desirable Requirements

  • Students who hold active student identity throughout the whole internship program (7/5-8/27)

  • Students who has enrolled in Bachelor or Master program in Electrical or related Engineering
