Responsibilities for the Platform PjM include the management, administration, and tracking of Server Platform for assigned projects. Duties and primary responsibilities include:

  • Create and drive product development schedules including tracking issues, identifying risks, and risk mitigation, resolving problems and communicating status reports.

  • Interlock and drive implementation of projects across Global Development Teams. Require off-hour conference calls with global teams.

  • Plan and manage the developing proto allocation as well as budget spending.

  • Establish appropriate methods through project planning, analysis, and implementation to achieve effective solutions and to meet objectives and priorities.

  • Create and maintain project BOM, Conduct in and participate in BOM audits to ensure accuracy and that BOM structure meets the needs of all affected areas and regions.

  • Work with external suppliers/ODMs to obtain project deliverables.

  • Recommend changes for improvement in company processes and assign tasks to project team and monitor team activities as well as work on problems where facts may be conflicting and problems may take extensive investigation to define.

  • Participate in post-mortem reviews to improve the development process.

  • After project completion, support asset recovery by working with cross-functional teams to return materials to be kept for ongoing development.


  • 10+ years Server Development Project Management Experience

  • Priority setting skills.

  • Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment.

  • Strong knowledge of the Engineering Development Process

  • Good technical understanding of the products assigned.

  • Strong ability to work with suppliers.

  • Ability to communicate clearly through oral and written communications in English globally.

  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to present clear and concise information to team, internal customers, and external customers.

  • Ability to lead extended teams and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to manage daily workflow as required to meet departmental and customer requirements.
