Dell Manager 2, Project/Program Management in Taipei, Taiwan


  • Manages and leads complex projects or programs, possibly several concurrently

  • Drives complex cross-functional or segment projects Performs complex Business Process Improvement (BPI) analysis

  • Develops and implements complex project plans, specifications and schedules

  • Makes recommendations to senior management

  • Translates business objectives into department goals as well as plans and implements

  • Leader role to be able to demonstrate leadership in a cross-functional and cross-LOB initiative

  • Executes goals and strategy within area of responsibility and develops solutions to process challenges through in-depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with PG Core team and functional managers

  • Liaison between extended teams for process improvement and conflict management

  • Own ENG operation and resource arrangement in team for efficiency and effectiveness

  • Process reviewer and improver for sample/proto parts allocation and schedules (align with material schedule)

  • Documentation governor of function in PG Core team - functional plan, SOW, lesson learned, schedule, BOM, PDL, allocation/build plan, meeting reports, ensure engineering BOM and PDL generated and maintained at accuracy and in timeliness

  • Be capable to utilize or innovate best in class tools to develop innovate solutions to highly complex problems


  • 3-year people manager experience and 8+ years working experience are required

  • DT/AIO or NB/ServerProject Management experience - nice to have

  • Education: Engineering, Project Management Bachelor degree OR related study

  • Ability to use software tools - MS office, Project and etc. VBA is a plus.

  • Organizing and planning skills

  • Priority setting & urgency judgment skill

  • Ability to drive for results and manage changing and conflicts in working environment

  • Ability to communicate clearly through oral and written communications - Good English skill

  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to present clear and concise information to team, internal customers, and external customers

  • Ability to manage daily workflow as required to meet departmental and customer requirements

  • Demonstrate attentiveness to quality and productivity
