Market Analytics Senior Advisor

The team will have frequent exposure across different functions, including Global Operations, Finance, Product and Sales/Marketing executives. This role is designed as an entry point for high potential candidates.

What you’ll achieve

You will be part of the strategy team with high visibility within Dells executive leadership team. Work is typically organized around project-based engagements and you will be working with talents from various backgrounds, including but not limited to management consultants, research analysts, and investment bankers.

You will:

  • Conducting research and analysis on desktop/notebook/server/storage industry, including:

o Competitive and market analysis across PC and original design manufacturers (ODMs)

o Identifying and developing insights into key drivers (macro, technological, supply/demand, etc.) of industry growth and dynamics

o Collaborating with cross-functional teams to conduct and validate research and supporting relationship building with industry contacts

  • Works on a wide range of critical issues, including sourcing, inventory, supply chain strategies

Essential Requirements

  • You should be fluent in English (both written and verbal) and comfortable with a fast-paced dynamic environment, be able to clearly and concisely communicate recommendations and conclusions with the support of detailed analysis and sources, and may be asked to regularly participate in cross-functional teams in support of initiatives throughout the organization.​

  • 5 years+ experiences in "Equity Research", "Investment Banking", or "Management Consulting" preferred

  • Strong problem-solving skills; an ownership mindset

  • Ability to manage a group of internal key stakeholders to drive strategy development

  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across multiple layers in the organization and able to gain respect of cross-functional organization

Desirable Requirements

  • MBA degree a plus, but not required

  • High-Tech or operations knowledge/experience a plus
