Procurement Initiative & Analytics Senior Manager

A ground-breaking company making game-changing products needs an exceptional supply chain. Procurement initiative and Analytics within Worldwide Mobility Procurement organization develops and implements strategic initiatives to transform its supply chain and its procurement capabilities. We use strategic thinking, program management, influencing, and analytical skills to drive the initiatives and enable supply chain transformation and transitions. Mobility procurement team has Cost management, Supplier management, Supply management, and Supply chain management functions, and the Initiative and Analytics team will be coordinating the functions and cross-functional teams to ensure the transformation is well planned and implemented.

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team to work with supplier base, procurement functional teams, and cross-functional teams within Dell on strategic initiatives within Mobility product lines.

You will:

  • Develop strategic initiatives for procurement functional teams to drive towards

  • Collect, synthesize, and communicate market analytics and insights to drive worldwide procurement strategies and decision making

  • Coordinate procurement and cross-functional teams to achieve the strategic goals

  • Plan for, lead, track, and report supply chain transition initiatives

Essential Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills, especially in multi-national/multi-cultural environment

  • Strong written/verbal communication, especially in English (Mandarin a strong preference)

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity with structured problem solving and analytical skills

  • Able to gain respect of cross functional organization

  • Capable of influencing others and managing executive teams

  • Understanding of key levers and improvement areas in supply chain and procurement

Desirable experience

  • 5+ year experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, supply chain strategy, corporate strategy, and/or procurement is strongly preferred

  • Record of success and best-in-class achievement in prior work and education experiences

  • High-Tech knowledge/experience especially around operations, including supply chain design and procurement, is a big plus

  • Top-tier MBA preferred, but not required
