Our Electrical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, analysis, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell Technologies and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality and quality, as well as industry standards.

What you’ll achieve
Responsible for the design and development activities associated with electronic designs. Leads all activities necessary to take a design from concept to production. Partitions design tasks and connect electrical team in implementation and validation on program.
Works with the design team, cross functional teams and suppliers to ensure the design meets set requirements for schedule, feature set, functionality, cost, quality, reliability, regulatory compliance, and industry standards compliance.
Reviews original design manufacturer and sub-tier vendor capability to support product development and production
Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems and ensures that designs integrate with rest of product functions including mechanical and software. Supports specialized electrical sub-systems such as power, batteries, comms, graphics, component, memory, etc
Selects components based on analysis of specifications, cost, continuity of supply, and reliability and consider cost reduction initiatives and projects
Supports the prototype builds of designs Validates and characterizes designs

Bachelor/Master EE with 10+ years of experience on Intel/AMD/Qualcomm HW Product Development in PC/high tech industry.
Advanced knowledge of analog and digital circuit theory and principles.
Advanced technology/engineering skills relating to design, test and quality.
Advanced leadership skills for driving cross functional groups, demonstrates problem solving capability and drive for results.
Good oral communication and presentation skills with fluent English.
Chromebook development experience is a plus.
