Dell Software Senior Engineer in Taipei, Taiwan

Our Engineering Project Management team oversees product data. As an Engineering Project Manager, you will coordinate the building and shipping of both new and ongoing systems, product marketing and sales, all in an effort to grow Dell Technologies' sales and gain market share.

What you’ll achieve

Understands the needs and expectations of stakeholders (Sustaining & Security Solutions Leads), and facilitates/planning/ordering of work items at the Service Request/Replenishment. Gather business requirements and participate in prioritization of security incidents and vulnerabilities.

You will:

  • Job role requires leadership, but this is not a people manager role.

  • Understands the needs and expectations of security stakeholders to comprehend, bound and manage security vulnerability response across our client portfolio.

  • Understand the latest incident response technical advisories and security reports from our key technology partners in order to determine their impact on our platforms.

  • Balance short term versus long term priorities as well as strategic vs tactical requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors or higher degree in MIS, Information Assurance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a similar field or equivalent professional experience

  • 5+ years industry experience, preferably in PC industry. Working knowledge on SW driver/Firmware development or sustaining schedule planning.

  • Strong project management skills: planning, organizing, monitoring and reporting on project activities

  • Strong analytical and process management skills required.

  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), with interpersonal and influencing skills, and experience in presenting to business and technical teams in an effective and persuasive manner

  • Proactive and self-driven, and sense of urgency mentality at work.

Desirable Requirements

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, as well as with using the Atlassian suite of tools
