Product Development Management is a fast-paced environment where innovative thinking is prized. Our team focuses on the delivery of products or computer-based systems for external customers. We lead and deliver the entire lifecycle from product definition and planning through to production and release. We also oversee modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. And to make the whole process run smoothly and seamlessly, we’re experts in project management, from initiation through to delivery, and liaise with other departments on technical matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defines product/solution development lifecycle process to be implemented throughout the organization

  • Manages high complexity products through entire lifecycle, and support decisions regarding enhancements throughout the lifecycle until product End of Life(EOL).

  • Ensures dependency and deliverable tracking across products/solutions/functions

  • Drives Solution Readiness and release readiness (organization wide)

  • Ensures a plan is in place for key corporate initiatives (Federal, Security, Globalization)

  • Defines the program risk management plan and drives mitigation and resolutions

  • Proliferate best practices from releases across Portfolio and BU's

  • Drives consistent and accurate cross functional program metrics

  • Designs standard program management practices and collaborates with and mentors other members of the product management org

  • Significant contributor to organizational goals and objectives

  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives, with limited direction.

Essential Requirements

  • At least 10 years of product development (engineering) experience in PC/high tech industry.

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup to achieve common goals.

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to resolve complex problems, drive for results, innovate, think and lead strategically

  • Mentoring/Coaching skills. Negotiation skills

  • Fluent English.
