The Dell Products & Operations Talent Development Sr. Advisor is responsible for successful program management of the Graduate Development Program (GDP) in India and APJ. Role has primary responsibility for delivering all Talent Development Events (TDE) locally in Taiwan and regionally as needed, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for participants. In addition, candidate will support global process alignment across programs and work as a member of a team representing key sites in every region. Events delivered by this team span new hire orientation programs, recent graduate development programs, leadership development and other talent related events. These events require interacting with local leaders at all levels who speak at events, and with participants. This role is part of an organization supporting talent development for over 22,000 Dell team members around the globe.
Serve as the APJ/India GDP regional leader ensuring the TDE project managers are on schedule with designs and plans enabling successful program execution
Train and coach TDE project managers as necessary on new GDP content.
Ensure the APJ and India GDP sites adhere to the global GDP program standards and methodologies to ensure high quality everywhere globally.
Create actional recommendations that will elevate program quality and attendance both regionally and globally
Draw program insights across all programs
Successful delivery of multiple events at local site and regional sites as appropriate, success measured by program participation level, feedback surveys and NPS scores
Effectively leveraging prior program participants and other local volunteers as needed to support delivery
Working with local team to ensure events have all logistics covered, which may include: facilities or venue; food; audio-visual equipment; content readiness; leadership/speaker readiness; invites and feedback surveys
Working collaboratively with a global team to ensure global process, consistency and high quality
Understanding and accommodating local nuances and cultural differences that make impact site-level activities
Primary responsibility for planning, execution, metrics and continuous improvement of our program delivery model
Providing reporting as needed on key and shadow metrics to ensure programs meet and exceed internal customer expectations
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 6+ years’ experience
Capable of leading and influencing to drive results without formal authority
Exercises sound judgement to make decisions independently
Capable of distilling large amounts of feedback to prioritize the critical few areas that will drive largest impact
Excels in creating sound recommendations and well-conceived action plans to support recommendations
Excels in implementing those action plans, working through others
Embraces ambiguity and experimentation as GDP is not a mature program
Demonstrated track record of expert stakeholder management
Expert program management skills
Proven ability to work successfully with leaders at every level of the organization
Experience facilitating events
Ability to effectively develop and maintain working relationships across all regions
Strong skills with MS Office Suite required. Powerpoint & Excel are critical skills
