Dell Advisor, Regulatory Compliance Project Manager in Texas

Our Regulatory Engineering team thrives on the challenge of operating in a complex global environment. We ensure product compliance to global regulatory, market and customer requirements in all our target regions. We work across segments and functions to integrate policy relating to emissions, safety and the environment into products and solutions. As we align regulatory standards with our strategic plans, we work closely with regulatory bodies, as well as with industry and customer groups.

What you’ll achieve

As an Advisor, Regulatory Compliance Project Manager you will be responsible for managing and leading small to medium projects across multiple lines of businesses to ensure all products and solutions applicable to the new and changing worldwide regulatory requirements, specifications and policies are successfully transitioned and executed to completion. You will work across our global regulatory teams and cross-functionally with Engineering/Marketing/Operations organization in all Dell business units to collaborate, support, and optimize processes.

You will:

• Be responsible for managing and tracking all phases of the regulatory compliance project to ensure on-time completion

• Work cross-functionally to identify resources and stakeholders needed to help develop project plans, processes, goals, and budgets

• Communicate program status, program readiness, business and technical issues, risks, and their resolution across Engineering, peer Program Management teams, and management

• Assembling and coordinating project team members, assigning individual responsibilities, and driving team collaboration spanning multiple geographies

Essential Requirements

• Experienced in managing small-to-mid sized project teams and delivering projects on time

• Skilled at leading and working across functions with geographically distributed teams

• Solid problem solving, communication, and presentation skills to be able to influence and interact with various levels of stakeholders

• Drive for results; takes ownership for tasks and overcomes obstacles

• Ability to manage conflicts and identify risks

• Typically 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• Engineering and/or product development experience
