Global Offer and Product Operations (GOPO) organization is key to creating, managing and validating product data throughout the lifecycle of Dell products. Our Global Validation team is part of that organization. Global Validators work within and outside of the organization to obtain in-depth knowledge of the products. This product knowledge and programming principles allow the Validator to design and implement Validation solutions. Achieving highest standards of validation ensures smooth ordering process for the Customers buying online and our Sales teams who use internal Sales tools. Put simply, we help to keep our game-changing products at their ground-breaking best shape for the Customers.

Key Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Global Validator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Validation rules that best fit industry leading DellEMC products. You will be empowered to identify opportunities and push the boundaries of how we can deliver best Validation solutions to our customers. You will work with internal GOPO stakeholders as well as Product Group, Global Operations Engineer (GOE), Services teams, IT and other stakeholders to deliver best quality product Validation to the market.

You will:

  • You will be responsible for attending the core team meetings to learn the product details, help shaping the product structure, and design and implement validation rules for the products.

  • You will work with team members across organizations and levels to obtain product restrictions and implement product Validation rules.

  • You will test the Validation rules to ensure highest quality standards.

  • You will work to meet your target dates and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as per lifecycle milestones and set metrics.

  • You will use your technical abilities and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities in the process, tools, and validation standards and you will work on implementing improvements.

  • You will actively attend team meetings and various forums where daily priorities and any project updates are reviewed and assigned.

Essential Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a Business, IT, or Engineering discipline and/or 4+ years relevant experience.

  • Know ‘Boolean Logic’ and hold knowledge of software programming principles and concepts.

  • Must possess problem solving skills and an eye for detail to be able to put solutions into a tangible form.

  • Motivated and energetic.

  • Flexible, adaptable and an active team player.

Desirable Requirements

  • Working knowledge of either Java, C++, or Oracle Databases.

  • Project Management experience and/or certification.

  • Previous Sales, Engineering, or Programming experience.

  • Knowledge of enterprise Data Center products including emerging technologies, such as Hyper Converged Infrastructure solutions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
