Field Marketing Manager (Sr. Advisor)– NA Channel – Austin, TX/ Remote in CA, AZ, WA, OR or TX (west coast or Texas)

Role Responsibilities

  • Owns the development and execution of the go-to-market plans to support specific growth initiatives in NA Client Solutions driving Regional Value Added Reseller (RVAR) route to market in the West GTM.

  • Localizes and adapts global content and programs that achieve sales demand through print and electronic collateral, sales training, customer research and customer briefings

  • Gathers feedback through multiple channels, including direct customer interaction, and communicates to appropriate marketing and business leaders.

  • Works with BU and Segment marketing team and business leaders to increase visibility, education and awareness to key industry audiences through use of press releases, case studies, press briefings, featured stories, speaking opportunities and analyst briefings

  • Executes product launches at local level, working with cross-functional teams.

  • Provides inputs into events strategy, including recommended events, budget allocation, and proposed themes.

  • Utilizes standard campaign methodology and metrics to track local/ BU marketing/sales efforts and drive program results throughout quarter/year.

  • Provides sales team with marketing roadmaps and training on key initiatives, industry trends and partner solutions.

  • Determines most effective segment/vertical sales tools and drives usage to maximize sales productivity.

  • Ensures that sales and marketing teams understand and are able to fully utilize tools to enhance sales and marketing activities


  • Typically requires 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree; or equivalentexperience

  • In-depth disciplinary knowledge; leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise.

  • In-depth understanding of Dell goals, customer requirements and knowledge of competitor practices.

  • Thorough understanding of Dell business priorities, strategy and direction

  • Thorough understanding and management of customer business needs and expectations.

  • Manages projects and program execution.

  • Works on abstract and complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables.

  • Develops innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improve business performance and contribute to corporate goals and strategic intent

  • Anticipates operational, program, and implementation issues and develops preventative measures


  • Channel and or OEM experience
