The Services Pricing team is looking for a Pricing Manager to join our team. The Services Pricing Manager will manage pricing for Deploy, Residency, Consulting and Education Services. The successful candidate will work cross functionally to design and execute regional pricing strategy. The consultant will manage business processes and systems as they relate to pricing and help articulate services pricing strategy by influencing key stakeholders in-region such as sales, delivery, product and services leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with and builds relationships with the Services Business, Product Business, COC, Sales, Delivery and Services Product Management teams in region

  • Develops an understanding of pricing and discounting trends and competition of relevant services business in region (Deploy, Residency etc.)

  • Utilizes knowledge of market and business to create and manage pricing models and recommend opportunities to improve attach and margins

  • Manages, socializes and executes on pricing changes, both beginning of quarter price moves (planned) and ad-hoc in-quarter price moves and sends out communication (411) as needed

  • Assists in managing promos and price/tool escalations in region with proper tracking, monitoring, reporting and administration. Communicates status regularly via reports and presentations

  • Socializes and communicates any business changes across multiple organizations

  • Compiles and prepares financial, operational, and competitive data for the countries in the region to be used to analyze business performance

  • Performs other duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelors or equivalent; 5+ years’ experience

  • Ability to work independently and to engage in multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills

  • Ability to navigate through large complex data sets in Tableau or other tools to help the ongoing business needs of the Services Pricing teams

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Power Point and data analytical tools such as Tableau

  • Ability to comprehend how the pricing strategy ties to the strategic direction of the company

  • Understanding of the Dell EMC Products and Services business a plus

  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and work under critical timeframes

  • Financial, operational, or competitive analysis experience a plus

  • Ability to work in a team environment remotely, and to influence cross-functionally
