In this role, the Sales Support Advisor is responsible for the design, development, and presentation of training materials in support of the SDS (Support and Deployment Services) Sales organization. This includes training activities such as the Services Sales Academy, Field Readiness Seminar, Tech Summit, Quarterly Business Training, Sales on-boarding, and ad-hoc training requirements.
Develop training content with varying complexity levels including complex solutions. Assists management with developing training programs
Works with team and other areas of the organization to help identify development opportunities.
Leads training events for the organization
Coordinates, leads, or participates in cross-functional meetings to support global training needs
Takes responsibility for sales training manuals and materials
Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Manages resources effectively to design & deliver training programs – internal team resources, SME support, sales resources, etc
Intermediate - Advanced PowerPoint skills
In-depth knowledge of training development with industry e-Learning certifications preferred
In depth knowledge and use of tools such as Articulate Storyline and SABA preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead small to mid-sized project teams.
Ability to communicate clearly and present in front of large audiences on a global team.
Ability to manage conflicts cross-functionally.
Align a project team around a project vision and coordinate core team meetings to ensure everyone stays on time with their deliverables.
Confidence and drive: Self-starter with passion and sense of urgency and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast pace environment.
Prior Sales Experience and/or experience working closely with sales teams.
Prior Learning and Development, or content design experience preferred
Typically requires 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent experience
