Dell Senior Data Scientist in Texas

As a Data Scientist for Dell CPG SW serviceability team the candidate will work with multiple technical and business stakeholders to analyze data collected from field. Make correlations with product service data to figure out product usage and quality trends. Based on data you will help identify areas of future development and feature modifications

Required Qualifications :

  • Experience in mining insights from large datasets, translating business questions into data science use cases and providing answers using data and statistical methods.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain difficult analytical methods to technical and business stakeholders.

  • 3+ years of experience with data science stack including Python (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn), R, Scala.

  • 3+ years of experience with database technologies (SQL or others) in querying, creating databases, stored procedures, etc.

  • Bachelors or Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Data Science, or other Engineering & Scientific fields with a significant quantitative component with 5-7 years of relevant experience in data science and engineering

Preferred Qualification :

  • Experience developing visualization and dashboard using technologies such as Python- Plotly, R – Shiny Server, etc.

  • Understanding and experience with Machine Learning using TensorFlow, Pytorch, or other frameworks

  • Familiarity with BI tools like Power-BI and Tableau

  • Familiarity with general purpose programming language like C#, C++, etc.
