Senior Manager Business Intelligence

Summary

Lead a team of 8-10 people to develop world-class Sales Tools, business intelligence, and analytics for our Services Sales organization. Set the standard by creating products that focus the Sales team on the highest value activities, while automating the low value ones.

Responsibilities

  • Typically responsible for significant components of multiple projects or multiple small-mid sized projects Impact is on multiple functions or processes

  • May assist in strategy development for the group

  • Provides recommendations to senior management

  • Directs team members including hiring staff, setting team goals and conducting performance reviews

  • Lead people, projects and operations

  • Leads in determining technical objectives

  • Pulls together teams in order to achieve goals

Skills

  • Ability to prioritize projects and/or deliverables Strong strategic planning abilities

  • Ability to work effectively with senior management

  • Possesses operational command of the business

  • Appropriate understanding of computer architecture

  • Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions

  • Strong consultative skills Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup

  • Ability to execute

  • Ability to influence others to achieve results

Education and Experience

  • Typically 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Typically requires 4+ years managerial/leadership experience
