• Serve as the testing consultant to leader in the IT organization and functional user groups

• Lead changes in architecture, methodology or programming procedures

• Assist in crafting the strategic technical and architectural direction to the programming function

• Act as prime consultant on large projects that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives

• Acquire detailed specification from business users and development to ascertain specific output

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes business requirements/processes and system integration considerations to determine appropriate technology solutions for internal and external customers. Designs, evaluates, codes, configures, tests and documents applications based on system and user requirements

  • Responsible for preparing design documentation.

  • Designs, codes, tests, debug and documents software according to Dell’s systems standards, policies and, procedures, security and compliance requirements.

  • Analyzes business needs and creates, defines software solutions including custom developed and off the shelf software.

  • Evaluates and recommends software and hardware solutions to meet user needs.

  • Resolves customer issues with software solutions and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

  • Interacts with business users, I/T, vendors and customers to define current and future application requirements.

  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of application programming and analysis. Strong Object oriented programming skills

  • Strong software engineering skills, thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to work in global development environment

  • Self-starter, proactive, good team player, should possess exceptional commitment towards success of the team, and should have excellent crisis management skills.

  • Work with the engineering manager, product owners, architects, developers and SDETs to endure that the product is being delivered with quality on time and within budget

  • Work with internal IT teams to coordinate project interlocks and deployments.

Essential Requirements:

Oracle Apps Senior Techno Functional Consultant

  • 12+ years of experience on Oracle EBS Applications.

  • Responsible for delivering cross functional projects and Operational Support for Oracle EBS Inventory, Purchasing and supply chain domain

  • Good Functional knowledge for these modules, should have knowledge of setups and features/functionalities in these modules.

  • Must have very strong experience with AR, AP, INV, PO modules

  • Hands on Experience with PTP, PTM and PPO cycles.

  • Must have excellent knowledge of current technologies deployed by Oracle including development tools, Oracle Forms/reports, PLSQL, SQL, XML etc.

  • Support the team during migration and conversion efforts Publisher, have good knowledge of OAF page, Workflow, SOA, Unix Scripting skills etc.

  • Must have good knowledge on standard Oracle EBS tables, mainly on Inventory, Manufacturing and other related modules.

  • Should have excellent understanding of data conversion from Legacy to Oracle R12 EBS.

  • Should have excellent working knowledge on standard Oracle Interfaces and APIs mainly in the Finance and Sourcing modules

  • Must have experience supporting production support activities and quick turn out is required.

  • Should Experience setting Concurrent programs, Request Group, Request sets, Menus, Profile Options and their impacts.

  • Understand of Oracle R12 EBS architecture on server such as DB and Apps tiers is required.

  • Experience in implementing Conversions, Interfaces, Customization and Maintenance

  • Should have exposure to at least couple of R12 Implementation and Upgrade projects

  • Experience in Oracle R12 (specifically to Inventory, Supply Chain, Item setup)

  • Technically fluent in Writing / Debugging, Database Packages / Procedures / Function / Triggers in RDBMS using Oracle Technologies i.e. (SQL, PL/SQL).

  • Knowledge of Development, Extension customizations, API, integrations and Personalization of screens / reports (using Oracle FORMS / Oracle REPORT / XML Publisher) for E-Business Suits.

  • Should be able create Proof of Concept (POC) on any new initiatives.

  • Prepare Solution Concept Document(MD50)

  • Prepare detail technical design document (MD70)

  • Develop Implementation strategy for PIM projects and take care of complete development from design till production deployment.

  • Effort estimation of projects.

  • Develop testing strategy.

  • Ability to dissect the structure of complex UI page and UI Theme’s.

  • Ability to Prescribe UI & Layout design considering the current application architecture.

  • Ability to prescribe Responsive web development & Adaptive Design when it’s needed using Twitter Bootstrap & Components.

  • Defining and handling Oracle ALERTS and Oracle WORKFLOW.

  • Highly conversant with RICE components.

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Work independently to understand business requirements and be able to translate them to technical requirements.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in building cloud native applications and service api

  • Experience in Document Store.

  • Experience with Python.

  • Experience with Golden Gate

  • Previous experience in geographically distributed projects, having worked with teams located in different countries.

  • knowledge of Spring & Spring boots framework

  • Knowledge of Java Application Servers (preferably WebLogic);

  • Solid Knowledge of Data Modeling, MS Sql Database and PL/SQL;

  • Informatica, Apache Spark & Kafka, Streamsets.
