What you’ll achieve
As a member of our Technical Staff , you will leverage in-depth industry knowledge of the business environment and various technical solutions to assist the customer in gaining market share and increasing operational efficiencies and provide technical and consultative leadership for technical solutions opportunities on a range of complex engagements, focused on an industry or service offering. This role requires an in-depth understanding of an organization’s business, industry requirements and systems. Focus on understanding the customer’s strategic, organizational and business challenges and offer solutions as they relate to the future business environment and operational objectives. Responsibilities may include analyzing requirements, implementation, customization, integration and documentation for the customer, project management, change management, etc. You will work closely with Sales, pre-sales, project managers, other consulting team members, and the customer to ensure a smooth implementation and transition from start-up to integration/production mode. This role requires you having the ability to lead solution and proposal development once project goals and objectives have been defined.
Work as a primary strategic consultant to define solutions to complex, multifaceted problems; act as a representative of Dell in technical and strategic discussions related to the customer’s environment
Align technology solutions to customer vision and strategy; be involved in most sales opportunities within domain or client relationships
Have multiple senior client relationships within industry and/or service area specialties
Present architecture and design solutions; define deliverables for SOW and engagement team
Act as a mentor to other senior technical personnel
Define implementation strategies and consult with service delivery teams to ensure operational readiness
Ability to anticipate when technology and changes will occur and adjust/evolve architecture and applications accordingly
Communicate with clarity, credibility, honesty and impact
Build and solidify productive relationships with clients and internally
Identify and coordinate training needs of team members with senior management

Typically requires 15+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12+ years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8+ years experience; or equivalent experience
Expertise designing and deploying functional multi-cloud operating environments
Expertise across industry best practices for public and private cloud usage and the ability to define specific use case documentation for customer environments
Dell and VMware product expertise
Ability to lead a team of cross functional and heavily matrixed individuals to achieve a common solution
Expert writing skills and demonstrated ability to document processes for the customer
Agile and DevSecOps understanding and experience
Industry cloud certifications, such as AWS or GCP
