Senior Project Program Management Consultant

Dell Technologies is seeking a seasoned field services Program Manager to help deliver an unparalleled services experience for our customers. As the Senior Consultant, Technology and Transformation Enablement you will work closely across all levels of the organization to define our technology and transformation North Star and implementation plans. Your scope will span our end user client and server products across our consumer and commercial businesses and through an extensive global partner network operating in over 150 countries, across 120 partners managing over 8,000 field engineers transacting over 4 million onsite service requests a year within $300M annualized envelope.

What you’ll achieve

As a member of the Global Field Services organization, you will shape the future of services as we transform the business to be a digital, outcome-oriented, data-driven operation all anchored on customer success and ease of use. Your work will ensure that we provide a consistent, transformative, digital experience with the solutions and expertise for customers to meet their needs. You will manage through two panes of glass: that of our thousands of field engineers to make their work more efficient and effective, and also through the eyes of our customer’s resolution journey.

You will:

You will set the technology and digitization vision for global onsite break/fix, carry-in, and deployment services. Lead through an extensive global partner network. Understand the market, customers, and competitors and know how to enable the development of Dell Technologies IP to set us apart in the industry.

• Communicate and lead all aspects of project documentation, development of success criteria, outcomes measurement, and project handoffs

• Develop a strategy that aligns different business units and scales globally

• Use appropriate tools and techniques to gauge progress and changes to the scope and schedule.

• Identify and quantify variances and perform required corrective actions while communicating to all partners.

Essential Requirements

  • Track record of achieving results via technology and digitization. You understand the leading and innovative digital and system experiences in the industry and can apply them to your business.

  • You’re not afraid to be held accountable, nor hold other functions accountable to agreed upon strategy plans.

  • Lead with facts, data and logic to achieve consensus on key business process decisions.

  • Deep understanding of the end user and server computing market, partner eco system, and customer needs.

  • Understand Services and have experience enabling global capabilities.

  • You can “connect the dots” across multiple functions onto one vision.

Desirable Requirements

  • 15 years of experience and Bachelors Degree, 10+ years experience and advanced degree

  • Excellent understanding of competitors and their products as well as potential partner relationships for Business Development
