Business Operations Consultant
The telecommunications industry is going through a major transformation within its network driven by several technology shifts, including 5G, the virtualization of the network functions and advancements in OSS/BSS including utilization of AI/ML. The Telecom Systems Business Unit (TSB) is a rapidly growing global organization comprised of specialized experts dedicated to strategically and intimately partnering with Telecom customers who are deeply engaged in a transformation within their network by delivering best-in-class technology and service solutions based on offerings from Dell Technologies.
Own & execute moderately complex projects or workstreams within larger projects
Work with stakeholders to define business requirements for projects & processes
Understand & work within organizational BMS (business management system) framework to track open actions, ensure availability of meeting materials and completeness of data
Work with cross-functional operations leaders to develop and administer BU-level reporting in conjunction with stakeholders
Work under the direction of the leader of Telecom Sales learning and enablement to support learning programs and sales enablement activities aligned to TSB field resource needs. l
DESIRED CAPABILITIES/ EXPERIENCE
Executive impact – lead team problem solving, influence executive thinking and drive them to action when necessary
Communications - Strong written, power point and verbal communications skills
Business Management – manage consistent execution of cadenced business processes
Structured problem solving – disaggregate complex problems, drive analysis to understand root causes and propose solutions
Project Management – lead key business initiatives
5-7 years of related experience in an operations or project management role
Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline
Experience supporting core business operations processes and cadences
Telecommunications product and/or industry knowledge
Knowledge of Smartsheet and Ally desired
