Working together with our Alliance sales teams, our IT Architect define the overall Dell Technologies solution for the customer using the full range of company products and services. You will support highly complex customer accounts, providing direct support to customers and our field sales teams.
Research industry agenda’s align with technology pressures to showcase Dell Technologies’ portfolio of solutions which align deliver business outcomes.
Presents and markets the technical design and business value of proposed solutions and business case to customers, prospects and management.
Successfully builds and maintains relationships with key “PARTNER” decision makers and influencers: from CxO level to enterprise architects to engineering.
Successfully builds and maintains relationships with the broader account team in support of sales team objectives and engages and leverages BU’s and corporate resources / personnel as appropriate.
Collaborate with a virtual team of technical resources covering the account in country and around the globe to drive standardization, ensure global consistency and leverage best practices and successes.
Collaborate with Global Architect to create, maintain and communicate an account technology plan to the virtual team on a quarterly interval. The plan includes future solution definitions, tactical initiatives and milestones and business relevant technology solutions.
Provides regular updates on the state of the business, progress on the planned initiatives, the size of the opportunity and required investments/resources via Quarterly Business Review , account reviews and annual planning sessions.
Develop and communicates competitive frameworks and solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections that arise in a sales campaign.
A minimum of 15 years of Systems Engineering experience in IT Hardware, preferably storage
10 + years working experience with outsourcer/system integrator partners
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure architectures, distributed systems and platform operating systems.
Native level Japanese language skill (Minimum JLPT N1 holder)
Business level English skill
- Advanced experience in a relationship selling role, preferably technical
