Background and Expectation
Our services organization is growing rapidly, therefore we are establishing an integrated services presales team in Japan. The first objective for the new leader of Services Presales will be to form the team by bringing together our Services Solutions Principals with different specializations. Once the team is established, the role steering the team from the front and working side-by-side with members to achieve the goals and objectives.
Establish the integrated Services Presales team in Japan and develop the skills of team members
Partner with the Services Sales and Product Sales Leaders in Japan to drive customer success and to grow our business
Build services pipeline, qualification of opportunities, solution scope and design
Consult with customer’s technical senior leadership
Provide thought leadership in executive customer briefings and customer workshops
Lead the Services Presales team, execute strategies to build synergies and optimize productivity
Collaborate with peers across the world on best practices and global initiatives
10+ years of experience in IT Industry with at least 3 years in a management function
Solution- and technical knowhow in the areas of cloud platforms, business resilience, application transformation and workforce productivity
Excellent facilitation, presentation and interpersonal communication skills both in English and in Japanese (Native level Japanese skill is required as the Director will communicate with Japan local customers.)
Proficiency in communicating technical concepts, architectures and designs, program strategies and tactics clearly to both internal and external stakeholders
Comfortable with negotiating and the ability to establish commitments and set expectations with customers
