What you’ll achieve

As an Account Executive, you will develop new accounts or expand existing accounts within an established geographic territory or product line, building strong customer relationships in the field while ensuring a great customer experience for all.

You will:

• Help create market, business unit or product line business plans to capitalize on current/future market trends or achieve operational efficiencies

• Work closely with senior management on a wide range of critical issues

• Identify product strategies for Dell’s approach to various customers and industries

• Conduct competitor assessments and evolution of profit pools

Essential Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience selling technology solutions

  • Expert knowledge of market trends that impact on Dell Technologies customers

  • Outstanding customer management and strategic selling skills that will improve the success of our customers’ business and the growth of Dell Technologies

  • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills and the ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior/CIO/CXO leadership and next two levels down

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced ambitious environment

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

Ten Skills I look for in the role to be a Bank Client Director:

  • Technology Sales and account management skills

  • Strong relationship skills and network (internal and external)

  • Executive presence / sales / relationship experiences to CIO, CTO’s in our clients and not shy to go to LOB execs and out of technology. App Dev experience a bonus

  • Business case/finance selling experience

  • Selling IT Transformation experience / while selling transactions

  • Managing and leading by matrix a group of brand/specialty reps including VMware and motivating them to sell on their client base

  • Strong collaboration skills / teaming skills

  • Strong time management / priority management skills

  • Finance sector background and relationships

  • typically 1st line or 2nd line management experience
