Our field sales professionals rely on proactive technical support during the sales process – and our expert Systems Engineering team always steps up to the mark. We lead the development and implementation of complex and specialized products, applications, services and solutions. From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations, to developing detailed installations or system integration plans, we ensure customers get the innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need.

Key Responsibilities

·Primary subject matter expert to construct the specific solution, scope document, risk profile, and corresponding financials.

·Uses expertise to construct specific and detailed solutions that encompass process, technology, project and staffing plans.

·Constructs risk assessments and corresponding remediation plans relative to custom solution proposals.

·Participates in the construction of financial models that align with custom solution proposals.

·Composes applicable services agreements (e.g. Statements of Work, SLA documentation, etc) that specify processes, technology, staffing, deliverables, commitments, risk, and project management aspects of a solution.

· Supports deal negotiation and closure to include transition support to service delivery.

·Serves as a services subject matter expert to both internal and external customers.

·Follows all organizational standard operating procedures relative to cost modeling, approvals and reviews, and all other associated workflow, documentation and deliverables.

·Participates in applicable win-loss reviews and incorporates learnings into future solutions.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree and/or appropriate mix of experience related to technical or business consulting activities with Microsoft Enterprise technologies:


  • Current relevant Third Party Certifications

  • VMWare VCP/ VCAP 6/7 – Desktop & Mobility Deployment

  • Citrix CCE,CCP

Desirable Requirements

·8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

·Subject matter expert in several of the following technologies:

·Windows 10 Migration and Deployment Strategy, SOE Design and Development

·Application Compatibility Testing, Rationalisation, Packaging and Remediation

·Systems Management including SCCM, Intune, Workspace One / Airwatch, KACE

·Virtual Desktop Infrastructure including VMware Workspace One / Horizon, Microsoft VDI, Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop, Wyse WSM.

·Application Virtualisation including Microsoft App-V, VMware ThinApp, Citrix XenApp

·Profile & Persona Assessment and Management including AppSense Environment Manager, Management, Liquidware Labs Stratusphere FIT, UX and ProfileUnity, Lakeside Systrack

The End User Computing Solution Principal is a pre-sales role within Dell’s Support and Deployment Services Sales team. The role is primarily a pre-sales architecture role, however Solution Principals are also responsible for supporting initial stages of delivery of large and complex projects where a high level of architecture oversight is required. The architect is expected to review and validate designs developed by Dell Consultants in professional services delivery, however the architect is not usually responsible for developing detailed technical designs.

The End User Computing Solution Principal is responsible for translating the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications and/or process designs for custom technical solutions.

Analyses customer requirements and designs solutions to meet the customer objectives and balances the needs of sales and delivery to design a solution that meets or exceeds the requirements of service delivery.
