.NET Software Engineer - DFS

Join us as a Software Engineer on our Financial Services – Sales Experience team in Brazil to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

As a .NET Software Engineer you will design, code, test, debug and document .NET and front-end single page applications within the DFS Commerce product line. You will also be automating unit and functional tests in CI/CD pipelines (test, build assembly and deployment) across all environments.

You will:

  • Develop and maintain your code with a Test/Behavior Driven Development mindset

  • Perform code reviews while pairing inspecting code quality and assuring process adherence

  • Conduct and monitor production launches and post-launch support coordinating with geographically distributed teams in conference calls

  • Provide Level 3 (application development) support for escalated production incidents orchestrating different teams for issue resolution

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in Financial Services IT, BS in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience.

  • Strong C# skills with experience on both .NET Core and .NET Frameworks, React applications and Node.js

  • Experience developing front-end applications and proficiency with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

  • Knowledge on Data Storage stacks including SQL DB.

  • Experience with TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using testing frameworks (Selenium, xUnit, Specflow)

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience developing responsive pages using Bootstrap and mobile-oriented web applications

  • Experience with No-SQL data stores (MongoDB, Cassandra), Cloud Computing (Pivotal Cloud Foundry), Message Queue Brokers, PowerShell, Docker, Kubernetes
