What you’ll achieve
As a Product Designer you will be part of a group of talented Designers, Engineers and others in related Design roles who manage products and solutions involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of exceptional product experiences. Your role is multi-disciplinary, delivering value in the form of design decisions. You lead design along with Senior Designers; to understand and empathize with people to help your cross-functional team solve customer and business problems. You won't be working alone. As a member of a centralized design team for Dell Digital, you'll receive guidance and mentorship from design leaders in our mission to ship world-class digital commerce products. Together we will affect millions of customers worldwide and help drive multi-billion-dollar businesses.
Take a user-centered approach to design process and methods
Lead the design process from problem discovery, framing, ideation, iterative development, delivery, and maintenance
Guide and validate design decisions with user research methods and existing data
Learn and balance user and business goals to achieve desirable, viable, and feasible solutions
To be responsible for user research, interaction design, visual design, and content artefacts that communicate design decisions for the user experience and user interface
Partnering and collaborating effectively with researchers, engineers, designers, product owners, and business stakeholders on all initiatives
Evolve and evangelize our Design System

Knowledgeable on User Interview Scripts, Prioritization Techniques, Empathy Maps, User Journey, Lean Experiments, Interaction States, Interaction Models, Information Architecture
Visual Brand Identity, Visual Style Guide, Micro-interactions, Component Libraries,
Front-End Development Fundamentals (CSS, HTML, JS)
Writing (Grammar, Spelling, Punctuation), Writing Style Guide & Writing Brand Identity.
Utilizing Existing Data, Problem & Need Statements, User Flows, Low Fidelity Prototyping
Visual Design (Visual Hierarchy, Color, Typography, Iconography)
- A design degree is desirable, but not necessary
