As a part of the Dell Technologies Office of the CTO(OCTO) Research Office, we research and innovate on the future oftechnology in a high visibility, collaborative teamof senior technologists, data scientists, customer engagement specialists, and world class hardware/softwareengineers,architects,andproduct managers. We work together to keep the pulse of technology and reduce our customer’s future challenges by exploring the art of the possible.

What you’ll achieve:

The role of DojoProduct Manager is to lead research tracks and technology initiatives in a fast paced, collaborative environment, adopting the efficiencies of a Lean Agile process wherever possible. Dojo Product Managers work on a variety of initiatives – on any given day, you might find yourself defining cutting-edge research, brainstorming a patent idea, interviewing customers, designing a new feature or tool to help our internal stakeholders, or managing a backlog and reviewing stories with engineers. You will collaborate withother product managers, leadership, engineers and data scientists, tech leads, strategy, and/or stakeholders to execute on technology development using an agile, fast-fail mentality. This position requires someone who thrives in a highly ambiguous environment and loves to learn quickly.

You will:

  • Work closely withsmall, cross-functional teams of researchers and developers, as well as with leadership, to make decisions and shareinsights

  • Work withcustomers and stakeholders to understand theirneeds

  • Develop and maintain a backlog of stories and areas of exploration; prioritizework

  • Define and refine requirements andhypotheses;make sure deliverables meetthe agreed-upon acceptancecriteria

  • Support and lead both open-ended research as well as well-defined development deliverables in technical areas including multi-cloud, edge, data management, security, internal tools, andmore

Essential Requirements :

  • Self-Motivated,enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about technology and leading research and development tracks

  • Ability and open mindedness to quickly learn about new development methodologies and cutting-edge technologies such as edge, security, and machinelearning

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience working across cross-functionalteams

  • Experience or interest in interfacing with customers to understand painpoints

  • A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in product management, business, software development, applied research, or a similar area; an advanced degree without experience; or equivalentexperience
