Senior Product Marketing Advisor

The Client Solutions (CS) team is seeking a new team member interested in developing their career and helping to grow the business by joining the CS Sales Enablement function tasked with supporting inside and outside sales organizations.

The Sales Enablement Senior Advisor is a central EMEA-based role tasked with driving quarterly and yearly initiatives to train both generalist and specialist sales teams, to ensure that they are sufficiently competent in having conversations on CS products and solutions with customers and partners, which will in turn drive higher opportunity win rates and grow Dell’s Client market share. The role will also involve engaging with Channel partners.

The Sales Enablement Senior Advisor will work directly with the EMEA CS Field Product Manager (FPM) and CS Marketing teams, as well as the EMEA CS Centre of Competence (CoC) and Product Group (PG) to develop and roll out training content on all CS lines of business

What you’ll achieve

As a Product Marketing Advisor, you will own and project manage product marketing initiatives, working closely with other members of marketing, sales and product management.

You will:

  • Lead coordination of quarterly in-person (or virtual) Core Sales training on CS products and solutions, this will involve

  • gathering input from key stakeholders

  • proposing a plan

  • getting signoff from CS leadership

  • leading content creation ensuring sales-ready output

  • preparing the FxMs and others to deliver

  • leading calendar creation for all sites across EMEA

  • tracking attendance

  • Work with Marketing, PG and FxMs to marry the training with the major annual product launches – including additional branding and hype activities – and to align with Power Week activity

  • Work hand-in-hand with other CoC colleagues, Field Sales Enablement and PG Product Marketing to ensure alignment on any Core Sales enablement initiatives

  • Lead segment-specific training initiatives from time to time

  • Constantly striving for better NPS and more innovative ways to educate our sales teams

  • Creating and leading monthly pan-EMEA Channel partner webinars, reporting on outcomes whilst always driving for continuous improvement

  • Support Specialist Sales training & enablement, particularly a once-yearly technical training event

  • Maintain a central repository for CS training content and messaging

  • Undertake on the job training to improve your knowledge of the CSG product and solutions portfolio

Essential Requirements

Undergraduate degree required, proven team leadership and/or project management experience

· 5+ years of relevant business experience in the IT industry (Sales, Marketing or Technical Support) – sales experience highly valued

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·Advanced knowledge of MS Office and communications tools

·Strong presentation skills

·Strong knowledge of all Dell CS products and solutions, as well as Dell Services offerings

·Willing to travel occasionally across the EMEA region in support of sales enablement initiatives

·Strong understanding of the Dell sales structure, culture and ethos is a plus

·Proven ability to operate successfully in high-stress, fast-moving environments

·The successful individual will have a passion for products and technology

·Background and experience in learning and development roles will be a plus

·Market knowledge of competition also a plus

·Fluent English, other languages a plus
