Industries Account Executive

As an Healthcare Senior Account Executive - UKI, you will deliver strategic return on investment by overall development of the healthcare market across the UKI region to position solutions into healthcare customers / partners and build unique value propositions around these relationships.

The mission for the role is to leverage their healthcare industry expertise to help Dell EMC in the healthcare space to drive incremental opportunity and revenue. This is achieved by enabling and collaborating with the core sales force to help grow healthcare revenue to meet corporate growth goals. The Healthcare Senior Account Executive must help:

  • Lead business development activities to strengthen our position in the top accounts and assist to attain Dell EMC footprint into previously under-penetrated accounts in an assigned region (70%)

  • Manage at least one partner ISV reseller alliance globally (30%)

As an Industries Senior Account Executive, you are responsible for selling to and influencing the partner portfolio by maintaining positive on-going relationship to meet evolving needs and requirements. As a seasoned professional with a wide range of experiences, you use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

The role will involve:

  • Ongoing opportunity / pipeline creation and management, including revenue and cost responsibility

  • Ongoing customer and partner account plan development

  • Evaluation and management of new initiatives and business opportunities Utilizing a consultative approach, discuss business issues with partners and develop a formal quote, a written sales proposal, oral formal sales presentation addressing their business needs

  • Responding to RFP’s (request for proposal) and following up with partners

You will:

  • Seed new Dell EMC footprint or services engagement in defined list of under-penetrated, “competitive accounts” each year. Work with sales management to quantify top under-penetrated accounts in the region and agree on focus areas

  • Drive focus on accounts by the sales team (Lead planning sessions, Help teams align to healthcare application partner, Look for line of business centric avenues into accounts)

  • Keep sales teams educated about the healthcare industry and informed about important industry trends. Create and execute on specific “communication plan” for the region

  • Maintain industry and Dell EMC healthcare solution expertise

  • Healthcare Senior Account Executive recognized as an industry expert by field sales as well as customers and collaborating with the core sales force to help grow healthcare revenue to meet corporate growth goals.

Essential Requirements

• 20 years of experience in a relationship selling role; field sales experience preferred

• Contract interpretation, negotiations and project management

• Strategic planning experience

• Advanced knowledge of company products and services

• In depth knowledge of the Healthcare sector in the UKI region

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
