Key Responsibilities

The role is to work as the Business Partner to UKI Enterprise and Commercial Sales Leadership consulting on the provision of Sales and Solutions training to the entire Dell Salesforce in the UK, Ireland and offshore resources. Managing the successful creation and provision of this training along with the measured effect on Sales transformation. The role includes the delivery of Sales and Pre-Sales focused training, role-playing, event organisation and content creation. The ideal candidate has a Sales/Pre-sales background with and interest in new Sales techniques and business practice. You have a flair for building relationships across organisations as well as at senior management level. You have a proven track record of creating results through others in a matrix environment

  • Work with UKI sales Management to deliver UKI Sales objectives by developing specific training development plans for the UKI Enterprise and Commercial Sales teams.

  • Responsible for the delivery of sales training; new hire onboarding, selling skills for inside and outside sales, account planning, acceleration training's and entry level technical training

  • Conducts training in classroom as well as thru conference calls

  • Provide on-going consultation on selling skills

  • Engage with the Sales leaders, Business Unit leaders, Marketing and Global Sales Training to ensure the coordination, organisation and deployment of the required training's for the sales teams. Includes: Product & Vendor led training's

  • Training effectiveness performance review.

QUALIFICATION:

Essential Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in an IT/Technical discipline preferred.

  • Strong background of working preferably in a sales or pre-sales capacity.

  • Knowledge of DELL EMC Enterprise product Portfolio

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience of Direct Enterprise, Global Account and Channel Sales desirable

  • Consulting Skills for the development of Training and Sales Programs including- Ability to design basic training modules.

  • Needs assessment/ Diagnostic skills.

  • Vendor research and evaluation skills

  • Facilitation skills

  • Training/delivery skills
